Home Improvement in Kentucky: Blending Tradition with Modern Comfort

When you think of Kentucky, a few things come to mind: the rolling bluegrass hills, the world-famous Derby, the rich aroma of bourbon aging in oak barrels, and homes that tell stories of deep-rooted tradition. From the charming Victorian homes of Louisville to the rustic farmhouses of the Appalachian foothills, Kentuckians take great pride in their homes. But let’s be real—while a historic home has its charm, that outdated bathroom from the ‘70s isn’t exactly a piece of history worth preserving!

The Kentucky Way: Tradition Meets Innovation

Kentucky homes are a reflection of our unique heritage. Whether it’s a log cabin tucked away in Daniel Boone National Forest or a stately brick home in Lexington, we know how to blend tradition with modern comforts. That’s where home improvement comes in! Upgrading your home isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about improving function, increasing value, and making your space more enjoyable. After all, if your bathroom still looks like it belongs in the Prohibition era, it might be time for a change.

The Southern Comfort of a Good Bathroom Upgrade

Let’s be honest, nothing beats a good soak in the tub after a long day—whether you spent it at Churchill Downs cheering on a horse or hiking through Red River Gorge. But if your bathtub looks more like a relic than a retreat, it’s time for an upgrade.

Popular Bathroom Upgrades for Kentucky Homes:

Bathtub Replacement: Because those clawfoot tubs are charming—until you realize they leak like an old bourbon barrel.
Walk-In Showers: Perfect for aging in place or simply adding a sleek, modern touch to your home.
Accessible Bathrooms: Because everyone, from young jockeys to retired bluegrass musicians, deserves a safe and stylish bathroom.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The professional installers, Auston & Shane, sent by Custom Bath and Shower did a great job replacing my old tile shower with a beautiful Onyx stone walk-in shower. They made sure the add-ons ( seat, shelf, grab bars and inset shampoo shelf ) were placed where I wanted them. Austin went the extra mile in searching the local stores to find my preferred color fixtures. I would highly recommend this company and these installers for bath/shower renovation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very professional and did a superb job! They did the job under 10 hours and this included a vanity top. Did an excellent job explaining everything. The faucets didn't shift like the job a previous plumber had completed. I would highly recommend Jerry and his team.
